Aqua America, Inc. today reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 grew to $22.2 million, a 24 percent increase from $17.9 million in the second quarter of 2004. Diluted earnings per share for the quarter increased to $0.23, up 21 percent from $0.19 for the same period in 2004, on 3 percent more shares outstanding.
