KARACHI (August 01 2005): In the absence of provisional accounts of the State Bank, pending their finalisation as at the close of FY05, partial monetary statistics pertaining only to scheduled banks were available for the week ended on July 9, 2005. As per these accounts, total assets/liabilities of scheduled banks declined by Rs 34.2 billion as of July 9.
